Douglas Lycurgas Stewart

Douglas Lycurgas Stewart, 88 yrs, of Baltimore, MD, formerly of Port Deposit, MD, died Saturday, November 23, 2013 in the Loch Raven Community Living Center, Baltimore, MD. Born July 20, 1925 in Port Deposit, MD, he was the son of the late William J., Sr. and Catherine M. Mason Stewart. Mr. Stewart was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force having served during W.W. II. He was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church of Cokesbury, Port Deposit, MD, and was formerly employed by Bethlehem Steel of Sparrows Point, Baltimore, MD, as a crane operator . Mr. Stewart is survived by his brothers, Robert M. Stewart, William J. Stewart, Jr., George O. Stewart, John P. Stewart; sisters, Joanne E. Stewart Walton, Rosemary V. Stewart Watson; eleven nieces and nephews; eleven great nieces and nephews; and one great great nephew. In addition to his parents, Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his brother, Richard H. Stewart. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, November 30, 2013, 12 Noon, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, November 30, 2013, 11 AM until 12 Noon, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Jones Memorial Cemetery, Cokesbury, Port Deposit, MD.
