Ebenetta Jane (Rolfe) Thompson

Ebenetta Jane Thompson, 71 yrs, of Port Deposit, MD, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at her residence. Born September 10, 1944 in Elkton, MD, she was the daughter of the late Eben and Isabella Atkinson Rolfe. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband, George Anthony Thompson of Port Deposit, MD; son, Mark Anthony Thompson, Sr.; daughters, Lynnette Carol Settlemyre and Aleta Kay Eldreth; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother, Albert Rolfe, sisters, Frances Clark, Judy Oikemus and Ellen Johnson. Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her son, John Albert Thompson. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, July 18, 2016, 10 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, July 17, 2016, 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home. Pastor Michael A. Caldwell of Asbury United Methodist Church of Port Deposit, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
