Edith Ann (Bobbitt) Patrick

Edith (Polly) Ann Bobbitt Patrick, 72 yrs, of Port Deposit, MD, went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 28, 2013 and will once again dance with her beloved husband of 40 years, Thomas Edward Patrick, Sr. Born December 12, 1940 in Independence, VA, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Ola B. Bobbitt Cornett. Mrs. Patrick enjoyed gardening and flowers, loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and a hot cup of coffee any time night or day. Mrs. Patrick was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD, and is survived by her sons, Ronald Lee Jones and Tommy Edward Patrick, Jr.; daughters, Judy May Kohlbus, Paula Florence Evans, Lisa Ann Patrick; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry Dean Bobbitt and Johnny Lee Bobbitt. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Patrick was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Patrick and daughter, Wanda Jean Rodden. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 3, 2013, 11 AM, at Pleasant View Baptist Church, Port Deposit, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2013, 7 PM until 9 PM, at the church. Pastor Dr. Harold Phillips of Pleasant View Baptist Church will officiate.
