Edward Frank Hawkins, Sr., 59 yrs, of Aberdeen, MD, died Tuesday, May 20, 2014 in the University of Maryland Medical Center of Baltimore, MD. Born February 6, 1955 in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of William C. Hawkins and the late Alice P. Hamilton Hawkins. Eddie was employed by the Ferrell Fuel Company of Aberdeen, MD, and is survived by his loving finance’, Judy Lambert and her son, Billy, of Aberdeen, MD; sons, Edward Frank Hawkins, Jr., and Matthew Curtis Hawkins; daughters, Nichole Renee Hawkins and Jessica Swiger; two granddaughters, Jaelyn and Emilie Briney; grandson, Jason Briney; brother, William C. Hawkins; sisters, Patricia Ann Detardo, Alice Rebecca Ellis, Julia Ida Engle and Melissa Diana Hawkins. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, May 23, 2014, 3 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, May 23, 2014, 1 PM until 3 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Dave Mason of the Carsins Run Baptist Church of Aberdeen, MD. Interment will be private. Arrangements by Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD.
