Elberta Todd Stevens of Port Deposit, Maryland passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2011, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Perryville, Maryland on May 18, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Elbert and Marguerite Allabaugh Todd.
Mrs. Stevens is survived by her husband of 57 years, Edward J. Stevens; her daughter, Dawn M. Stevens; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Edward and Sarah DiPaola; granddaughter, Joanna DiPaola; two great grandchildren; brothers, Charles (Amy) Todd and Lester Todd; and sister Sue Stearn.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Marion (Andy) Todd and her sisters, Helen Todd Carsins and Janet Todd Bobbitt.
Mrs. Stevens was retired from Aberdeen Proving Ground after 35 years of service. She was a member of the Perryville United Methodist Church, Aiken Homemakers and the Ladies Auxiliary to the Susquehanna American Legion Post No. 135.
A viewing for family and friends will be held Thursday, May 12, 2011, 7 PM - 9 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, Maryland. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, May 13, 2011, 10 AM, at the funeral home. Pastor Leslie Slak of the Perryville United Methodist Church, Perryville, Maryland will officiate. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
