Elizabeth (Kincaid) Owens

Elizabeth “Lib” Kincaid Owens, 95 yrs, of Perryville, MD, died Sunday, August 21, 2011, in Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD.  Born October 30, 1925, in Hughart, WVA, she was a daughter of the late Harry Vernon and Elizabeth E. Kincaid. Lib was a member of the Perryville United Methodist Church, Perryville, MD. She was very generous and loving to her church and her friends.  Lib is survived by her son, Jeffrey A. Owens and his wife, Susan; grandchildren, Whitney E. Campbell, Natalie K. Owens and Matthew A. Owens, all of Perryville, MD. In addition to her parents, Lib was preceded in death by her husband, Hanford W. Owens; daughter, Cynthia O. Williams; and son-in-law, David A. Williams. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Perryville United Methodist Church in care of the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, August 25, 2011, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2011, 7 PM - 9 PM, at the funeral home. Rev. Brett Pinder of the Perryville United Methodist Church will officiate.
