Ella Gertrude (Weaver) Bines

Ella Gertrude Bines, 92 years, of Perryville, MD, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at her residence. Born August 29, 1924 in Perry Point, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Cooley and Mary Elizabeth Flood Weaver. Mrs. Bines was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church of Perryville, MD. She is survived by her sons, George Franklin Bines III of Elkton, MD, and Richard E. Bines Sr. of Perryville, MD; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Mary Jane Cherubini of Philadelphia, PA; and sisters-in-law, Joyce Weaver and Joan Smythe. Mrs. Bines was preceded in death by her husband, George Franklin Bines Jr; brothers, Thomas Weaver and Curtis Weaver; and sister, Elva Dukes. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, November 14, 2016, 1 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, November 14, 2016, 11 AM until 1 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Rev. Patricia Drost of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church of Perryville, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mark’s Cemetery, Perryville, MD.
