Elmer Lee Grove

Elmer Lee Grove, 65 yrs, of Havre de Grace, MD, died Tuesday, December 24, 2013 in Upper Chesapeake Hospital of Bel Air, MD.  Born May 28, 1948 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Minnie Grove German and the late Elmer Lee Grove, Sr. Mr. Grove was the former manager of the Havre de Grace American Legion Post No. 47 of Havre de Grace, MD.  He loved his family, cookouts, boating, taking pictures, and people. He was quite the handyman in the past and could fix almost anything. Mr. Grove is survived by his wife, Cynthia Ann Grove of Havre de Grace, MD; sons, Christopher Grove and wife, Ivanka, of Tampa, FL, and Jeffrey Grove of Sarasota, FL; stepchildren, Christina Warholic and husband, George, of Clearfield, PA, and Randy Wheeler and wife, Susan, of Havre de Grace, MD; grandchildren, Triston L. Grove, David L. Newsome, Bryan L. Newsome, Kaitlyn N. Newsome, Kylie N. Wheeler and Noah Wheeler; brother, Ron Grove; mother-in-law, Ann Coakley; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his father, Mr. Grove was preceded in death by his brother, Calvin Grove. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, December 28, 2013, 10 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013, 9 AM until 10 AM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Norman Obenshain of the Havre de Grace United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD. Arrangements by Lee A.
