Elsie Kathryn (Jackson) Fritsche

Elsie Kathryn Jackson Fritsche, 94 yrs, died Thursday, May 16, 2013 at her residence in Hollywood, MD, after a brief illness. Born January 2, 1919 she was the daughter of the late William Nelson and Florence Esther Lynch Jackson of Perryville, MD. After marrying Robert R. Jackson, she moved to Baltimore and to Falston, MD. After her marriage to Harry Fritsche, she moved to Clearwater, FL and returned to Maryland after his death. Elsie was a homemaker and caregiver, who cared for both of her parents and both of her husbands during their approaching deaths. She lived with her son in Hollywood, MD, until her death. She was a member of the Hollywood United Methodist Church of Hollywood, MD, a member of the Elim Temple No. 76 - Daughters of the Nile of Tampa, FL., and was briefly employed as an office manager by M.J. Frederick Plumbing & Heating of Baltimore, MD, before starting her family. Mrs. Fritsche is survived by her sons, Robert Rawlings Jackson, Jr., of Hollywood, MD, and William Nelson Jackson of Cincinnati, OH; four grandchildren, one great-grandson and two step great-granddaughters. Mrs. Fritsche was preceded in death by a step grandson. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or Hospice of St. Mary’s in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, May 20, 2013, 1 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, Maryland. Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, May 20, 2013, 12 Noon until 1 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Rev. Sheldon Reese of the Hollywood Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, Port Deposit, Maryland. Arrangements by Lee A.
