Emmitt Allen Brown

Emmitt Allen Brown, 78 yrs, of Port Deposit, MD, died Saturday, February 27, 2016 at his residence. Born May 15, 1937 in Port Deposit, MD, he was the son of the late Emmitt Washington and Dorothy Attee McMullen Brown. Emmitt is retired from Amtrak Railroad and is survived by his loving wife, Margo Malinda Jackson-Brown of Port Deposit, MD; son, Adrian Edward Brown of Billings, MT; daughter, JoAnne Brown of Aberdeen, MD; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Ernest W. Brown and William C. Brown; sisters, Barbara E. Brown, Eloise A. Brown-Atkins and Delores LaRue. In addition to his parents, Emmitt was preceded in death by brothers, Rudolph E. Brown, Elliott L. Brown and Aaron N. Brown; and sister, Marlene D. Brown Stallworth. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 5, 2016, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016, 10 AM until 11 AM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Bishop Delbert L. Jackson of AUMP Church of Wilmington, DE, will officate.  Interment will be in Berkley Cemetery, Darlington, MD.
