Evelyn May (Burton) Hicks

Evelyn May Burton Hicks, 63 yrs, of Havre de Grace, MD, died Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore, MD.  Born December 12, 1948 in Havre de Grace, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Violet I. Riale Burton. Mrs. Hicks was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the American Legion Post No. 0047 and a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post No. 3160, both of Havre de Grace, MD. She is survived by her husband, Dennis L. Hicks of Havre de Grace, MD; sister, Cleo C. Ward-Mikus; nieces, Lisa, Lee, Crystal, Brenda and Dana. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hicks was preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Caputo. Services will be private. Arrangements by Lee A.
