Flora May (Harris) Malin

Flora May Malin, 88 yrs, of Havre de Grace, MD, died Friday, January 13, 2012, in Citizens Nursing Home, Havre de Grace, MD. Born December 27, 1923, in North East, MD, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Cameron and Flora Esther Harris. Mrs. Malin was a member of the Havre de Grace United Methodist Church, Young at Heart Senior Club, Red Hat Society and Soroptimist International. She was a homemaker, worked as a florist, was a cafeteria manager for the Harford County Public Schools and enjoyed sewing baby clothes and donating them to Upper Chesapeake Hospital. Mrs. Malin is survived by her son, David L. Malin of Havre de Grace, MD; daughters, Susan M Brown and husband, Frank Spino of Melbourne, FL, Robin M. Davis and husband, Francis Mee of Annapolis, MD; grandchildren, David Wayne Brown, Gregory Malin Brown, Kelsey Malin Davis, Hannah Elizabeth Naomi Malin, Sarah Esther Grace Malin; and sister, Margaret Cormwell of North East, MD. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Malin was preceded in death by her husband, Harry G. Malin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Place in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, January 20, 2012, 10 AM, at the Havre de Grace United Methodist Church of Havre de Grace, MD. Pastor Norman Obenshain of the Havre de Grace United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. Arrangements by Lee A.
