Flora Roberta (Reed) Moore

Flora Roberta Moore, 80 yrs, of Conowingo, MD, died Sunday, September 23, 2012 in Laurelwood Care Center of Elkton, MD. Born July 8, 1932 in Havre de Grace, MD, she was the daughter of the late John Peter and Flora Izena Mannon Reed. Mrs. Moore was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD, and a retired Licensed Practical Nurse employed by the former Fallston General Hospital of Fallston, MD. She is survived by her son, William Louis Moore III of Delta, PA; daughter, Brenda Sue Lawson of Conowingo, MD; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and sister, Opal Barr. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, William Louis Moore II; brother, Alvis Reed; and sisters, Nellie Simmons and Beula Busler. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, September 27, 2012, 11 AM, at Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, September 27, 2012, 10 AM until 11 AM, at the church prior to the funeral service. Pastor Josh Phillips of Pleasant View Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Bel Air, MD. Arrangements by Lee A.
