Florence Earlene (Thompson) Bailey

Florence Earlene Bailey, 92 yrs, of Perryville, MD, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020 in the Liberty Gardens Assisted Living Facility of Conowingo, MD. Born September 15, 1927 in Perryville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Ruth Bines Thompson.

Mrs. Bailey was formerly employed as a Teacher Aide at the Perryville Elementary School. She is survived by her granddaughter, Kerisha Phillips of Perryville, MD; two great-grandchildren; and brother, Cecil Thompson.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her husband, Everett S. Bailey; son, Gregory Scott Bailey; sisters, Audrey Harrison, Mary Fotiadis, Ellen Sumpter, and Esther McCarthy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Cecil County Animal Services in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766.
