Frances Theresa Novobilski, of Summerville, SC, formerly of Port Deposit, MD, died Friday, May 3, 2013 in Charleston, SC. Born February 24, 1931 in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Catherine Kelly McCarthy.
Mrs. Novobilski was formerly employed as a clerk by the U.S. Army Public Health Command Laboratory of Science Division in Edgewood, MD.
She is survived by her children, Linda Weldon of Port Deposit, MD, Joseph Novobilski of Long Branch, NJ and Frances Musselman and husband, Rodney, of Summerville, SC; grandchildren, Catherine McCardell and husband, George, Tracy Thomas and husband, Jonathan, Stephanie Weldon and finance, Randy Grant, and Randy Musselman; great grandchildren, George W. McCardell, III, Hailey Thomas, Ryleigh Thomas, Aidyn Thomas, Ashlee Grant and Alexis Grant; sister, Mary Devine and husband, William, Lake Parsippany, NJ; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Novobilski loved to play with her great grandchildren, loved crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and very much enjoyed reading and playing bingo.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Novobilski was preceded in death by her sister, Catherine Kilourey.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 11, 2013, 11 AM, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Perryville, MD. Visitations for family and friends will be held Friday, May 10, 2013, 2 PM until 4 PM and 7 PM until 9 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Father Jay McKee of Good Shepherd Parish will officiate. Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Cherry Hill, MD.
