Frances Jane (Preston) Hundertmark

Frances Jane Hundertmark, 82 years, of Laurel, MD, formerly of Perryville, MD, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024 in the Holy Cross Hospital of Silver Spring, MD. Born March 6, 1942 in Perryville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Roland Edward and Adeline Rebecca Wilson Preston.

Jane was formerly employed as a Research Assistant by the Perry Point Veterans Hospital of Perry Point, MD.

Jane is survived by her son, Randy Mark Smith; daughter, Tina Marie Higgins; four grandchildren; brother, William Lloyd Preston; and sisters, Ann Marie Patnaude and Mary Sue McClure.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her second husband, Harry Herman Hundertmark.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, November 25, 2024, 12 Noon, at the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, November 25, 2024, 10 AM until 11:30 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Rev. Susan Oldfather of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mark’s Cemetery, Perryville, MD.
