Francis Edward Fortuna

Francis “Frank” Edward Fortuna, 66 years, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025 in the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center of Bel Air, MD. Born January 2, 1959 in Gloucester, England, he was the son of the late William Edward and Frances Eileen Fortuna.

Frank was a member of the Conowingo Baptist Church of Conowingo, MD. He was a longtime employee of Kunkels Service Company and was more recently employed by Auto Plus as an IT Specialist. Frank loved his family, friends, helping people, the outdoors, and his tractor named Blue.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Deborah G. Fortuna; mother, Frances Eileen Fortuna; brother, Steven W. Fortuna (Christina); sisters, Jayne M. Shannon (Jimmy) and Helen R. Pearson (Les); nephew, Nathan Sexton, niece, Stacy (Bryan) Bates, niece Daniella Fortuna, niece, Jen (Mike) Williams- children Lucas and Sadie; nephew Bryan (Courtney) Shannon – children Carson, Brody and Calvin; niece Leilani Pearson, nephew Gary (Aimee) Pearson- children Briley, Bently and Fisher; niece Haunani Pearson – child Kealani; nephew Joseph Pearson.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 17, 2025, 11 AM, at the Conowingo Baptist Church of Conowingo, MD. Visitations for family and friends will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2025, 6PM until 8 PM, at the Conowingo Baptist Church and Wednesday, December 17, 2025, 10 AM until 11 AM, at the church prior to the funeral service. Pastor Curtis Strange of the Conowingo Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be in the Conowingo Baptist Church Cemetery, Conowingo, MD.
