Francis "Frank" James Olszewski, Jr.

Francis “Frank” James Olszewski, Jr., 79 years, of North East, MD, passed away Monday, July 11, 2022 in the Christiana Hospital of Newark, DE, surrounded by his family. Born October 23, 1942 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Francis James, Sr., and Jane Balcerowicz Olszewski.

Frank was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church of Perryville, MD, and a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Vietnam War. He was a long shoreman of Union Local No. 333 of Baltimore, MD.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Veronica Olszewski; sons, Francis “Frank” Olszewski, III, (Shray) and Michael Olszewski (Angela Serio); daughters, Kimberly Olszewski (Scott Smith) and Heather Olszewski Able (James, Sr.); grandchildren, Tiffany Paciga, Jaclyn Rothka (Matthew), Abigail Able, Anna Gibson, Michael Olszewski, Jr., James Able, Jr., Frank Olszewski, IV, Isabella Olszewski, Alina Olszewski, Benjamin Olszewski, and Delilah Olszewski; and great- grandchild, Wyatt Rothka.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022, 11 AM, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church of Perryville, MD. Father Jay McKee of Good Shepherd Parish will officiate. Interment will be private.
