Franklin Yale

Franklin Yale, 77 yrs, of Port Deposit, MD, died Friday, May 4, 2012, in University of Maryland Hospital, Baltimore, MD. Born June 17, 1934 in Calvert, MD, he was the son of the late James V. and Gussie Joines Yale. For over 50 years Mr. Yale owned and operated the Aberdeen Barber Shop of Aberdeen, MD. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 187 of Aberdeen, MD. He very much enjoyed boating and wood working. Mr. Yale is survived his sons, Vincent Yale and wife, Susan; Stephen Yale, Sr. and wife, Sue; daughter, Beverly Farmer and husband, Richard; seven grandchildren, Stephen M. Farmer and wife, Sharon; Stephen M. Yale, Jr. and wife, Erin; Amanda L. Yale; Richard W. Farmer and Danielle; Danielle M. Yale and Brad; Cassie M. Sweetra; and Michael V. Yale; two great grandchildren, Charlotte A. Yale and Cooper V. Yale; brothers, William Yale and wife, June; James Yale and wife, Phyllis; sister, Millie Sprankle and husband Howard. In addition to his parents, Mr. Yale was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Cox O’Brien Yale. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Calvert Manor Healthcare Center Scholarship for Nurses in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, May 10, 2012, 6 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, May 10, 2012, 5 PM until 6 PM, at the funeral home prior to the memorial service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
