Frederick Dierkes

Frederick Dierkes, 53 yrs, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at his home. Born October 18, 1964 in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of the late Frederick Henry and Irmgard Grote Dierkes. Mr. Dierkes was employed as a machinist/roll welder by Prime Metals Technology of North East, MD. He was an avid fan of the Baltimore Ravens and NASCAR. Mr. Dierkes is survived by his brother-in-law, Tim Souweine and wife Lisa of Towson, MD; sisters, Gabriele Pozzi and husband, John, of Lancaster, PA; Anna England of Chesapeake City, MD; 8 nieces and nephews; and 12 great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dierkes was preceded in death by his sister, Eva Souweine. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, January 17, 2018, 11 AM, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2018, 10 AM until 11 AM, at the church prior to the funeral service. Father Jay McKee of Good Shepherd Parish, Perryville, MD, will officiate. Interment will be private.
