Gary Webster Thompson

Gary Webster Thompson, 56 yrs, of Perryville, MD, went to be with the Lord Monday, September 19, 2016 following a battle with ALS. Born December 5, 1959 in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of Samuel Cecil Thompson Jr. and Betty Jane Moore Thompson of Perryville, MD. Gary was a member of the First Baptist Church of Perryville and employed by Amtrak as a Material Control Truck Driver. Gary is survived by his wife, Debra Lynne Zweifel Thompson of Perryville, MD; brothers, Samuel Rande Thompson, Edward Arthur Thompson, Jeffrey Wade Thompson; sister, Jane Thompson DeCourcey; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brigance Brigade Foundation and/or the ALS Association DC/MD/VA Chapter in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, September 24, 2016, 11 AM, at the First Baptist Church of Perryville. Pastor Dr. John M.R. Gauger of the First Baptist Church of Perryville will officiate.
