Genevieve (Blevins) Campbell

Genevieve Blevins Campbell, 90 years, of Port Deposit, MD, died Monday, January 16, 2012, at Calvert Manor Nursing Home, Rising Sun, MD. Born January 29, 1921, in Grassy Creek, NC, she was the daughter of the late Rush and Dorsey Jones Blevins Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker, a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD. Mrs. Campbell is survived by her son, Walter Campbell and wife, Margaret, of Port Deposit, MD; granddaughter, Holly Campbell of Port Deposit, MD; sister, Nora J. Hamby of Reisterstown, MD; and brother, Judson A. Blevins of Port Deposit, MD. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Campbell; brothers, Jewel Blevins and Ray Blevins; sisters, Hursey Deboard, Liza Arnold, Lessie Hash, Lois Holloway and Mary Peak. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, January 20, 2012, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, January 20, 2012, 10 AM until 11 AM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Josh Philips of Pleasant View Baptist Church, Port Deposit, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD. Arrangements by Lee A.
