George Dewey Horn, Sr.

George Dewey Horn, Sr., 76 yrs, of Perryville, MD, died Saturday, November 2, 2013 at his residence.  Born February 10, 1937 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Byron and Jessie Wheeler Horn. Mr. Horn was a United States Marine Corps Lance Corporal.  He was formally employed as a salesman for F.P. Winter Limited in Baltimore, MD. Mr. Horn is survived by his wife, Mary Helen Cohill Horn; son, James A. Horn; daughter, Colleen T. Hughes; seven grandchildren; brothers, Byron Horn; and sister, Barbara Horn. Mr. Horn was preceded in death by his son, George D. Horn, Jr.; brothers, Gordon Horn and Vernon Horn. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scout Troop 967 of Havre de Grace, MD, and Amedisys Hospice in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Memorial services are scheduled for Friday, November 8, 2013, 12 Noon, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, November 8, 2013, 11 AM until 12 Noon, at the funeral home. Deacon Luke Yackley of Good Shepherd Parish of Perryville, MD, will officiate.
