Gerald Boyd Stice, Jr., 69 years, of Perryville, MD, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2025 in the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center of Bel Air, MD, surrounded by his loving wife and daughters.
“Jerry”, “Junior” or “Mo” as he was affectionately known, was born April 24, 1956 in Austin, TX, to the late Gerald Boyd, Sr., and Ruby Reves Stice. Jerry’s sister, Patsy Lou Brown Radenz, would often recount how during school she was called to the principal’s office where she was told she had a little brother.
Jerry was a graduate of Texas A&M University and was employed as a sheet metal worker by the Sheet Metal Workers Local No. 100 of Baltimore, MD. He was an avid reader who cherished learning and encouraged everyone he met to further their knowledge and education. He never met a stranger and was always telling a joke or story to bring about laughter and a smile to brighten the day.
In 1988, Jerry met and married the love of his life, Teresa Michele Stice, while working as a sheet metal worker. The two were inseparable and often traipsed around the country searching for “treasures”. He was a classic car and motorcycle enthusiast and had the ability to fix anything.
A devoted husband and proud father, anyone that had the fortune to meet Jerry knew what a kind and generous man he was whether it was offering a home to friends in need or taking in abandoned animals. Jerry was always willing to lend whatever help he was able.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Teresa Michele Stice; daughters, Cynthia Natasha Sturgeon and Ruby Barnhart and husband, Joseph; grandchildren, Amelia and Draxton; sister, Patsy Brown Radenz and husband, Joe; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
