Gladys Carson Sentman

Gladys Carson Sentman, 95 yrs, of Havre de Grace, MD, died Monday, July 30, 2012 at her residence. Born June 22, 1917 she was the daughter of the late James and Millicent Craig Carson. Mrs. Sentman is a former kindergarten teacher having taught at the elementary school once located at the V.A. Medical Center of Perry Point, MD.  She is survived by her daughters, JoAnn Sentman Hague and Millicent Sentman Pennington; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother, James Carson; and sister, Margaret Johnson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sentman was preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Sentman. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 3, 2012, 1 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, August 3, 2012, 11 AM until 1 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Rev. Norman Obenshain of the Havre de Grace United Methodist Church, Havre de Grace, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD. Arrangements by Lee A.
