Gloria S. (Stimax) Gatchel

Gloria S. Gatchel, 92 years, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018 in Citizens Care & Rehabilitation Center of Havre de Grace, MD. Born January 31, 1926 in Perry Point, MD, she was the daughter of the late William and Buela Owens Stimax. Gloria was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a past Worthy Matron. Gloria was the wife of Joseph Gatchel who passed in 1985. She is survived by her two sons, David J. Gatchel and wife, Joan, and Dean E. Gatchel; daughter, Pamala G. Stewart and husband, Matt; grandchildren, Tracey Waters, Casey Gatchel, Julie Sammon, Matthew Moss; great grandchildren, Gracyn and Noah Forwood, Kelsey and Megan Gatchel, Riley and Jake Sammon, Andrew, McKenzie and Carson Moss. Gloria was a longtime companion to the late Charles Reasin of Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 25, 2018, 12 Noon, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2018, 10 AM until12 Noon, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Michael A. Caldwell of Wesley United Methodist Church of Elkton, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
