Harry J. Welsh, 88 yrs, of Perryville, MD, died Tuesday, August 7, 2012 in Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD. Born September 21, 1923 he was the son of the late Harry Joseph, Sr. and Rose Huth Welsh.
Mr. Welsh was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served as a First Class Gunners Mate during W.W. II. He is a retired Supervisor of the C&P Telephone Company having been employed by C&P for 45 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Madeline Patterson Welsh, and daughter; Deborah Welsh, both of Perryville, MD.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Welsh was proceeded in death by his sisters; Lucille Hostter and Rose Dolly Rowe.
Mr. Welsh was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church of Perryville, Susquehanna American Legion Post No. 135 of Perryville, Elks Lodge No. 1564 of Havre de Grace, Telephone Pioneers of America and past president of the Elkton Rotary 1980-1981.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 11, 2012, 11 AM, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church of Perryville, MD. A visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012, 10 AM until 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Father Roy Pollard of Good Shepherd Catholic Church will officiate. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
