Helen Louise (Asbury) Turbett

Helen Louise Turbett, 80 years, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at her residence. Born February 13, 1937 in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Ervin and Catherine Matthews Asbury. Mrs. Turbett is survived by her sons, Howard Irwin of Aberdeen, MD, Kenneth Irwin of Elkton, MD, Earle Irwin of Elkton, MD, and James Stamper of Port  Deposit, MD; daughter, Helen GranLund of Havre de Grace, MD; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; brothers, Leon Asbury and Ray Asbury; and sisters, Mary Spurgeon and Lindy Ritz. Mrs. Turbett was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl Asbury and Clyde Asbury, and sister, Barbara Breidenbaugh. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, January 19, 2018, 2 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, January 19, 2018, 12 Noon until 2 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Rev. Norman Obenshain of the Havre de Grace United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Bel Air, MD.
