Helen Duffy (Campbell) Burgess

Helen Marie Duffy Burgess, 90 yrs, of Perryville, MD, died Friday, February 15, 2013 at her residence. Born March 24, 1922 in Perryville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Leon and Wanda Stebbings Campbell. Mrs. Burgess was a member of the Perryville United Methodist Church, Perryville, MD, and was formerly employed by the V.A. Medical Center, Perry Point, MD. Mrs. Burgess is survived by her daughter, Darlene Jack and husband, George; son, Thomas Duffy and wife, Rebecca; raised as her son, Stanley Campbell and wife, Peggy; grandchildren, Jason Jack and wife, Andria, Brent Duffy and wife, Natalie, Whitney Campbell and Alison Duffy. Mrs. Burgess was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Brent Duffy, and second husband, Arthur Burgess. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, George Campbell, Wilson Campbell, William (Peck) Campbell, Francis Campbell, and sisters, Thelma Grove and Grace Ayars. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, February 19, 2013, 10 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, February 18, 2013, 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home. Rev.
