Irene Virginia (Mccardell) Herrman

Irene Virginia Herrman, 87 yrs, of Wilmington, DE, died Monday, January 20, 2014 at her residence.  Born August 21, 1926 in Liberty Grove, MD, she was the daughter of the late Willard S. and Edna T. Abrahams McCardell. Mrs. Herrman was formerly employed as a stenographer by Howard Johnson Distributors of Baltimore, MD. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Clifford Wayne Herrman of Wilmington, DE; daughter, Helen T. Marini of Medford Lakes, NJ; one grandchild; brother, Willard McCardell, Jr.; and sister, Thelma Kline. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Herrman was preceded in death by her son, Douglas W. Herrman. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, January 23, 2014, 1 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, January 23, 2014, 12 Noon until 1 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Rev. Ray Graham of Perryville United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Darlington Cemetery, Darlington, MD. Arrangements by Lee A.
