They later divorced and he married Erma Ruth Brooks on May 9, 1983. She passed away on January 9, 2018.
He enlisted in the US Army in 1952 and served 30 years of active duty. During that time, he was deployed to Germany, Vietnam, and Korea. He also was stationed in various posts in the United States as a logistics supply sergeant and received several commendations for his leadership. Tony believed in hard work and helping others. He ran his own roofing business on the side and would often drop everything to help someone in need. He truly had a big heart and a strong opinion!
