Jacqueline Lee (Ulrich) Burke

Jacqueline Lee Burke (nee Ulrich) passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, just shy of her eightieth birthday. Jacqueline was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and recently resided in Rising Sun, Maryland.  She was the eldest daughter of Walton and Mildred Ulrich of Baltimore, Maryland.  Jacqueline was a 1956 graduate of Eastern High School in Baltimore and worked for decades as a Medical Secretary. Jacqueline, also known as Jackie is survived by her son, David (Kathryn) and was a devoted grandmother to Jonathan (Emily), Kathryn and Emily Burke.  She is also survived by her dear sisters Jean Childers and Carol Freye, nephew, Bobby Raber, nieces Megan McCarthy and Maura Howard, and cousins Marlene Jensen Karen Axline and Lisa Wilson. A friend to all and servant of many, Jackie loved God and loved people.  A service in celebration of her life will occur at Mt. Pleasant Church in Colora, MD on Sunday, May 27 at 3:00, with visitation beginning at 2:00.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Pleasant Church, 1713 Liberty Grove Road, Colora, MD 21917.
