James Nelson Grant

James Nelson Grant, 70 yrs, of Perryville, MD, died Thursday, May 19, 2011, at his residence.  Born November 10, 1940, in Rising Sun, MD, he was a son of Josephine Ragan Grant Ginegaw of Rising Sun, MD, and the late Stanley McKinley Grant. Mr. Grant was retired from the V.A. Maryland Health Care System, Perryville, MD, where he was employed as a refrigeration mechanic. He is survived by his daughters, Kimber Grant Hill, Perryville, MD and Shellee Knight Grant, Aberdeen, MD; four grandchildren, Kahyla Knight Jenkins, Lydia Payton Hill, Aubrey Lyons Hill, Trenton Ray Cox; sisters, Judy Grant Malkin, Bryn Mawr, PA and Jacque Grant Cook, Ozark, AR.. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, May 26, 2011, 10 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD.  Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2011, 7-9 PM, at the funeral home.  Deacon Luke Yackley of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Perryville, MD, will officiate.  Interment will be private.
