James Jesse Peart

James Jesse Peart, 60 years, known as Jesse, of Shady Valley, TN, formerly of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017. Born March 20, 1957 in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of June I. Blakeley of Port Deposit, MD, and James W. Peart of Charlestown, MD. Jesse loved going to car races and watching them on TV. He loved to ride his motorcycle, going to rallies in Ocean City, MD, and Daytona Beach, FL. He also loved to play golf. Jessse is survived by his sister, Theresa K. Jackson of Port Deposit, MD; brothers, John W. Peart of Lake City, FL, Willard C. Steele of North East, MD, Jeffrey Blakeley of Port Deposit, MD; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jesse was preceded in death by his daughter, Brittaney Nichol Peart; brother, Bruce Lee Peart; step-father, Walter Blakeley; grandparents, William C. and Mabel Evelyn Walstrum. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 6, 2018, 12 Noon, at the Principio United Methodist Church Hall of Perryville, MD. A gathering for family and friends will immediately follow the funeral service at the church hall and will continue until 3 PM. Pastor Michael A. Caldwell of Wesley United Methodist Church, Elkton, MD, will officiate.
