Jane Ann (Burkman) Jones

Jane Ann Jones, 63 yrs, of Conowingo, MD, went to be with the Lord Monday, April 2, 2012 in the University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore, MD. Born October 1, 1948 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Louis William Burkman, Sr. and Theresa Delores Murphy Burkman. Ms. Jones is retired from Bethlehem Steel of Sparrows Point, MD, where she was employed as a secretary. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the American Legion Post No. 194 of Rising Sun, MD. Ms. Jones is survived by her son, Ronald Jones, Jr. and daughters, LouAnn Nickle and JoAnn Pugh. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren that she loved and cherished. In addition, Ms. Jones is survived by her sisters, Delores Milwee and Renee Graden and brother, Roger E. Burkman. In addition to her parents, Ms. Jones was preceded in death by her siblings, Louis W. Burkman, Jr., Lillian Burkman, John W. Burkman and Diane Hubbs. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, April 7, 2012, 12 Noon, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitations for family and friends will be held Friday, April 6, 2012, 3 PM until 5 PM and 7 PM until 9 PM. An additional visitation will be held Saturday, 11 AM until 12 Noon, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Dr. Harold Phillips of Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Brookview Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD. Arrangements by Lee A.
