Jean Frances (Boyd) Blakeley

Jean Frances Boyd Blakeley, 90 yrs, died Friday, November 20, 2015 in Calvert Manor Healthcare Center of Rising Sun, MD. Born January 15, 1925 in Perryville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Jefferson M. and Annie R. Barrow Boyd. Mrs. Blakeley was a member of Blythedale Seventh Day Adventist Church of Perryville, MD. She was formerly employed by the Bata Shoe Factory of Belcamp, MD. Mrs. Blakeley is survived by her sons, Leonard Blakeley of Lake Wales, FL, and Timothy Blakeley of Eglon, WVA; daughter, Carol Williams of Conowingo, MD; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Johnson of Florida and Rose Thomas of North East, MD. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Blakeley was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Blakeley; son, David Blakeley, Sr.; brothers, Milton Boyd and John (Ben) Boyd; sisters, Dorothy Nickle, Patricia Johnson, and Louella Walls. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 25, 2015, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2015, 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora, MD.
