Jean Evalyn (Burlin) Hornberger

Jean Evalyn Hornberger, 79 yrs, of Port Deposit, MD, died June 23, 2014 at her residence. Born August 1, 1934 in Port Deposit, MD, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Elizabeth Krauss Burlin. Jean was formerly employed by Harford Memorial Hospital of Havre de Grace, MD, as head cashier. Prior to her work at Harford Memorial Hospital, Jean was employed as a C&P Telephone Operator by the former Bainbridge Naval Training Center of Port Deposit, MD. Jean is survived by her loving husband Ellis Ira Hornberger of Port Deposit, MD; son, Mark Ellis Hornberger also of Port Deposit, MD; daughter, Bonnie Jean Hornberger of Lewes, DE; and two grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amedisys Hospice in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 27, 2014, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, June 27, 2014, 10 AM until 11 AM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
