Jean Marilyn (Wardell) Tezai

Jean Marilyn Tezai, 75 yrs, of Aberdeen and Bel Air, MD, left us on Friday, May 17, 2013 to join God in Heaven. She was born May 30, 1937 in Havre de Grace, MD, to the late Luther and Edna Wardell. Jean attended Havre de Grace High School and was married to the late Joseph Mirror Tezai in 1960, residing in Aberdeen, MD, for most of her adult life. She was a caring, spiritual woman, and a member of Grace Reformed Episcopal Church of Havre de Grace, MD. In addition to being a homemaker, Jean worked for many years as a Restaurant Hostess and as a waitress in and around the Aberdeen and Havre de Grace area. The third youngest of ten children, Jean is survived by her sisters, Audrey Riale of Port Deposit, MD, and Joan Johnson of Gastonia, NC; children, Robert Joseph Tezai of Southern CA, Jeanne “Angel” Edna Abshire of Bel Air, MD, Jacqueline Ann Packman of Suffern, NY; grandchildren, Christopher Abshire, Jeremy Abshire, Jared Liam Packman, Mykhail Josef Tezai; and great-granddaughter, Isabella Abshire. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer Research in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 22, 2013, 12 Noon, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2013, 10:30 AM until 12 Noon, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.  Pastor Mike Blitz of Grace Reformed Episcopal Church of Havre de Grace, MD, will officiate.
