Jennifer Dennett Colenda

Jennifer Dennett Colenda, 50 years, of Perryville, MD, passed away Monday, February 6, 2023 at home. Born November 24, 1972 in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of Rodney and Velda Wade Dennett.

Jenn was employed as a Program Coordinator by the Harford County Sheriff’s Office.

She is survived by her husband, John Allen Colenda, and son, Rodney Allen Colenda, of Perryville, MD.

Jenn was preceded in death by her son, John Wade Colenda.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Youth Empowerment Source in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, February 10, 2023, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitations for family and friends will be held Thursday, February 9, 2023, 5 PM until 9 PM, at the funeral home and Friday, February 10, 2023, 10 AM until 11 AM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Michael A. Caldwell of the Principio United Methodist Church of Perryville, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Principio Cemetery, Perryville, MD.
