Jerry Dean Blevins

Jerry Dean Blevins, Sr., 64 yrs, of Port Deposit, MD, died Friday, November 25, 2011, in Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD.  Born October 30, 1947, in West Jefferson, NC, he was the son of the late James Earl and Georgia Helen Harris Blevins. Mr. Blevins was employed by Clark Construction of Bethesda, MD, as a Senior Superintendent. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and is survived by his wife, Betty Sue Jones Blevins of Port Deposit, MD; son, Jerry Dean Blevins, Jr., of Perryville, MD; daughters, Melissa Garbek and Tara Lowery both of Port Deposit, MD; seven grandchildren; brothers, Ralph Blevins, Dale Blevins, Steven Blevins; sisters, Linda Wright and Karen Durham. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, December 3, 2011, 1 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, December 2, 2011, 7 PM until 9 PM, at the funeral home. Rev. Barry Gray of Port Deposit Presbyterian Church, Port Deposit, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD. Arrangements by Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD.
