Jerry Lynn Winters

Jerry Lynn Winters, 71 years, of Perryville, MD, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025 at home. Born August 2, 1954 in Lebanon, PA, he was the son of the late Jacob L. and Almeda A. Long Winters.

Jerry was employed by the U.S. Government as a Contract Specialist at the Aberdeen Proving Ground of Aberdeen, MD.

Jerry is survived by his brothers, Jay L. Winters and loving companion, Ellen, and James L. Winters and wife, Bonnie; and sister, Janice L. Wassmer and husband, Ken.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Jacob Lee Winters, and sister, June Ann Winters.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 4, 2025, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025, 9 AM until 11 AM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor David Burke of Mt. Pleasant Church of Colora, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mark’s Cemetery, Perryville, MD.
