Joan Barbara (White) Zambuto

Joan Barbara White Zambuto, 80 yrs, of Conowingo, MD, died Friday, August 15, 2014, in Harford Memorial Hospital of Havre de Grace, MD. Born November 14, 1933, in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Mildred Wineberger White. Joan was a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church of Port Deposit, MD, and is survived by her sons, James Joseph Zambuto of Conowingo, MD,  and John P. Zambuto of Perryville, MD; daughters, Deborah Ann Hall of Joppa, MD, and Mary Ruth Semilia of Conowingo, MD; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one brother, Dennis White of California. In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph James Zambuto and brothers, John E. White, Jr. and Michael White. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, August 21, 2014, 11 AM, at St. Teresa’s Catholic Church of Port Deposit, MD. Visitations for family and friends will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2014, 2 PM until 4 PM, and 7 PM until 9 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Father Jay McKee of Good Shepherd Parish will officiate. Interment will be in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD.
