John C. Kahl

John C. Kahl, 54 yrs, of Port Deposit, MD, died Friday, January 31, 2014 in Baltimore, MD. Born May 13, 1959 in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of the late Henry William and Pauline Anna Sprinkle Kahl. John was employed by Erosion Control & Landscape Service, Inc., of Jarrettsville, MD. He is survived by his brothers, Philip L. Kahl, Michael W. Kahl, Edward K. Kahl, William Kahl; sisters, Cheryl P. Kahl, Sarita G. Bennett, Peggy Wert and Ruth Sheets. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Richard L. Kahl; sister, Romaine Klotz; and nephew, Robert William Kahl. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, February 6, 2014, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD.  Visitations for family and friends will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2014, 2 PM until 4 PM and 6 PM until 8 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD.  Pastor Grant Nelson of Glasgow Baptist Church of Newark, DE, will officiate. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
