Joseph Allan Fayer

Joseph Allan Fayer, age 63, of Arbutus, MD, originally of Perryville, MD, passed away at Johns Hopkins Hospital Bayview Campus Friday, November 11, 2016. Joe was born to James and Betty Fayer on September 19, 1953 in Takoma Park, MD. He was a 1971 graduate of Perryville High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Before his illness he was employed by LaFarge North America as a computer specialist. Joe is survived by his wife of 23 years, Pam Price Fayer; mother, Betty; brothers, Michael (Donna), Steve, David, Russell (Linda), Mark (Sally), Keith; half brother, Thomas; daughter, Amanda Penrod; stepson, Mike Price (Heather); grandchildren, Kira, Elijah, Jack and Donovan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and his faithful Maltese Tigger. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Shriners Hospital for Children, Cincinnati in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 16, 2016, 1 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., 1493 Clayton Street, Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2016, 11 AM until 1 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Rev. Ray Graham of Perryville United Methodist Church, Perryville, MD, will officiate. Interment will be private at a later date.
