Joseph Walter Tebin, Sr.

Joseph Walter Tebin, Sr., 66 years, of Perryville, MD, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at home.  Born September 1, 1958 in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of the late Michael Tebin Sr. and Agnes Padelsky Tebin.

Joe is survived by his son, Joseph Walter Tebin, Jr.; daughter, Christina Marie Tebin; granddaughter, Makenzie Brooks; brothers, Michael Tebin Jr., Stephen Tebin and Peter Tebin Sr.; and sister, Joan Roland.  He is also survived by his nieces, Lisa Cole and Jessica Burton; nephew, Peter Tebin, Jr.; along with his 3 step daughters, 9 step grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Joe was a self-employed master carpenter.  When he finally put away the tools, he became a professional cab driver.  Joe enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  Joe had a huge heart and was friends with everyone. He was always there to lend a helping hand.  He loved watching the Orioles, Ravens and Terps.  He also enjoyed pitching horseshoes and playing poker.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Vanover Tebin.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 1, 2024, 12 Noon, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD.  Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, September 30, 2024, 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Bel Air, MD.
