Judith Elaine (Patrick) Ratledge

Judith Elaine Ratledge, 63 yrs, of Rising Sun, MD, died Thursday, August 20, 2015 in Christiana Hospital of Newark, DE. Born January 8, 1952 in Rising Sun, MD, she was the daughter of the late David L. and Sara A. Rakes Patrick. Judy was employed as an Administrative Assistant by Aberdeen Proving Ground of Aberdeen, MD. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and going to the beach. Judy was a very loving and generous person and she will be dearly missed by many. Judy is survived by her sons, Shannon Ratledge and wife, Karen, and Jesse Ratledge (Betty); six grandchildren, Brooke, Jacob, Nola, Madison, Jesse, and Trenton; brother, David Patrick, Jr., and wife, Lorna; sisters, Ruthann Montgomery and husband, Glenn, and Brenda Engel and husband, Frank; many nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Johns Hopkins Neurology Department in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, 2015, 2 PM, at Pleasant View Baptist Church of Port Deposit, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2015, 1 PM until 2 PM, at the church prior to the funeral service.  Pastor Dr. Harold Phillips of Pleasant View Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be in West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora, MD.
