Katherine Ann Herrman

Katherine A. Herrman, age 74, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2017. Born April 26, 1943 in Mansfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Santucci. Mrs. Herrman is survived by her husband of 51 years, James B. Herrman; son, James B. Herrman, Jr.; daughters, Doreen (Sissy) Garrett and husband, Bill, Lori Handy and husband, Ben, Tara Veasey and husband, Bob; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Butch Santucci and wife, Donna, and Salvatore Santucci. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Herrman was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Lavallee. Mrs. Herrman was a life member of the V.F.W. Post No. 6027 of North East, MD. She loved spending time with her family, trips to Ocean City, playing bingo, and spending time with her good friend, Icy Childers. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, October 5, 2017, 1 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, October 5, 2017, 11 AM until 1 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in Darlington Cemetery, Darlington, MD.
