Kathleen Ann (Welch) Wells

Kathleen A. Wells of Newark, Delaware, died June 12 at her home after a valiant battle with multiple sclerosis.  She was 55 years old. She was born April 14, 1958 to James and Clara Welch of Long Island, New York.  She married Dale Wells on April 15, 1978, and they settled in Rising Sun, Maryland, where they attended Pleasant View Baptist Church and raised their two sons, Christopher and Jesse. Kathy enjoyed singing in the choir, cheering on her boys at their soccer matches, cooking, and being with those she loved.  She is survived by her husband, Dale, her two sons, three grandchildren, and her six siblings. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD  21903-0766. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 16, 2013, 3 PM, at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 150 Downin Lane, Port Deposit, MD.
