Kenneth Deane Cole

Kenneth Deane Cole, 79 years, of Rising Sun, MD, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026 in the Christiana Care Union Hospital of Elkton, MD. Born September 6, 1946 in Sylmar, MD, he was the son of the late George and Verna Troxell Cole.

Kenneth was a member of the Harmony Lodge No. 53 AF/AM of Port Deposit, MD. He was formerly employed by the former General Motors of Wilmington, DE.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Nancy Gambill Cole; son, Michael Dean Cole; daughter, Tammy Cole Towner; 10 grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond Cole, Robert Cole, Roy Cole, and Charlie Cole; and sister, Doris Groff.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2026, 12 Noon, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, May 21, 2026, 11 AM until 12 Noon, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Tony Haywood of Rising Sun, MD, officiate. Interment will be in the Conowingo Baptist Church Cemetery, Conowingo, MD.
