Kyle Barton Brittingham, 26 yrs, of Perryville, MD, died Sunday, August 30, 2015 in Pocomoke City, MD. Born May 17, 1989 in Ft. Leonardwood, MO, he was the son of David Allen Brittingham and Patti Kay Barton.
Kyle was an Electrician Assistant employed by Perdue Farms, Inc., of Accomac, VA. He was also employed by Nocks Tire Center of Pocomoke City, MD.
Kyle is survived by his parents, David Allen Brittingham and Patti Kay Barton; sister, Crystal Warren and husband, Eddie; nephews, Bailey and Blaine; niece, Brook; “Gramps”, John P. Barton; uncles, Bruce, Bryan, Benny, and Blake; aunts, Candy and Suzzette; “Step Dad”, Charles Cunningham; great uncle, Carl Barton; great aunt, Arlene McEwen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
To know Kyle was to know one of the most kind, generous, fun-loving, and family-centered persons you would ever be fortunate to meet. With an ever-present smile that would light up any room (especially with those blue eyes!), Kyle was a special young man and a true friend to so many people.
A loving and cherished son to his mom (Momma) and Dad, family meant the world to Kyle. He was a proud grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin. He will be forever remembered by his large family as a young man who loved every one of them deeply and unconditionally.
And friends! Did anyone have any more than Kyle? So, so many felt fortunate to call him their friend, both young and old. Affectionately nicknamed “Country” by his buddies, Kyle brought so much joy to so many. Friends fondly remember how much he enjoyed dancing and singing for everyone, kayaking and fishing on the Susquehanna, his awesome poetry-writing skills, and of course, his passion for the Ravens! He was just a great guy to be around. With Kyle’s friendly and outgoing personality, it definitely can be said that he never met a stranger. Kyle will be deeply missed, remembered, and longed for always.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 9, 2015, 11 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2015, 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home. Pastor Michael A. Caldwell of Asbury United Methodist Church of Port Deposit, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in Principio Cemetery, Perryville, MD.
